Electra is a home bred F3 C brown spotted Savannah girl of outstanding type and temperament.
What can I say about Electra...well she is my world and by far the best Savannah I have bred myself, to date. When I look at Electra, I see and feel her mum Saffy who I tragically lost when she was eight days old and whom's death I have never gotten over. Electra's eyes are somehow the window to her soul and there is a deep connection between her and I. Perhaps she remembers how much I went through to save her and her siblings when Saffy passed.
After a week or so of around the clock bottle feeding, I decided to put Electra and her siblings with Sittingpretty Winter Wonderland and her mum Nelly. Whilst Nelly was an experienced mum, Winter had at the time, recently lost her litter so I felt it was worth a go. These incredible girls took on Saffy's little family as if they were their own and from there on, they raised them together. I am forever in Winter and Nelly's debts for this amazing act of kindness and love.
From a very young age, I knew I had to keep Electra as she looked like a mini African Serval with her vibrant golden colouring, solid jet black spotting, superb pattern, whited underside and that head!
Electra has a superb body shape with a long torso, long legs and a long neck.
Her head is small in relation to her body with a triangular shape and Serval like profile. She has a good eye shape and size and the same can be said for her ears. Her only let down is that her ears are not as upright as they could be. And her tail is a little too long and thin. But Rome wasn't built in a day and this girl for me is near perfection.
Electra has certainly passed her fabulous traits onto her kittens and has produced some outstanding typey offspring, one of which has gone to live as a breeding queen with Amare Cats.
Electra has a great personality. She is very independent but not too aloof with it. Everything is on her terms really and she is the boss. She is fierce and feisty yet loving and affectionate. She will often smack you with her paw when you walk past but there is no malice or aggression with it. She also really enjoys a game of fetch.
