Star is a home bred silver spotted Bengal girl of 8th generation. She is the result of a very carefully planned pairing which combines superb type, temperament and pedigree. She is exactly what I envisaged and she is actually better than both her parents as she has inherited their individual desirable traits.
Star has fabulous type with a great body structure. Her build is long (but not lean), substantial and strong. Her head is small in comparision to her body creating a wild look which is further enhanced by a long neck and well balanced medium length thick tail.
Star has a lovely head shape with a near straight profile and strong chin. Her top skull could be better as could her ears (which are a little on the large side) but this is work in progress. She has vibrant green/yellow eyes with thick black eyeliner. Her eye colour really stands out against her brick red nose leather that sits beautifully within her puffy whisker pads.
Star is also beautifully marked with large rosetted spots that are heavily outlined. She has also inherited the tiny black spots to her back feet that are seen on the Asian Leopard Cat. Her coat is so clear and contrast so strong that her colouring is literally black on white. She is just breathtaking!
Star is full of energy and zest for life. She loves to run on the cat wheel and do everything at speed. She is forever climbing and sitting at the highest height possible and can often be found on a wall shelf surveying the world beneath her. She also loves to demonstrate her hunting skills, whether it be with whole prey, a toy or a piece of paper.
Star has proven to be a fabulous mum with very strong maternal instincts. She is always besotted with her babies! She is also very trusting having allowed her mum Sittingpretty Baby Love to help raise her first litter. Star produces such outstanding babies, that I chose to keep Sittingpretty Painted Lady from her second litter.
