Bengal customer feedback

Below are some of the comments and feedback that we have received about our Bengal cats and kittens, by their new owners.

Sittingpretty Foxy Lady by Carlie Whitaker of Ilkley, UK

Sittingpretty Foxy Lady"When looking for our recent additions we came across Rachel who from the very beginning acted in a very professional and knowledgeable manner. At first we were a little uncertain to which breed would best suit us but Rachel was more than happy to give us plenty of information and made us feel relaxed when visiting the kittens. In the end we liked both breeds as they both have their own quirky characteristics. Both Foxy (Bengal) and Rory (Savannah) settled in to their new home really quickly and both are growing up to be amazing cats. We cannot thank Rachel enough for the help and support that she gave us throughout the process and would recommend anyone looking for a feline pet to get in touch with Rachel."

Sittingpretty Little Mix and Sittingpretty Arthur by Nicky Gould of Huddersfield, UK

Sittingpretty Little Mix and Sittingpretty Arthur

"I got some lovely photos today but I thought this one was the best one because they both look so happy! I just wanted to say thank you for my little babies. I love Mixi so much but I'm glad we came back for Arthur! It took 3 days of Mixi telling Arthur off for coming into her territory but now they're the best of friends. You wouldn't think they'd ever been separated. Thank you for such beautiful cats! They have so much fun together. Arthur is such a handsome and confident cat and is so funny to watch when he sits on things that are too small because he doesn't realise his own size! Mixi is so beautiful and she is really becoming attached to me and wants to sleep next to me in bed every night. My boyfriend has never really been a cat person but he absolutely loves them too. So thank you so much for my best friends! "

Sittingpretty Just Peachy by Amanda Stoney of Wrose, Shipley, UK

Sittingpretty Just Peachy

Comment 3:

"Peachy has a best friend. They love each other and she is so good with the boys!!"

Comment 2:

"Just thought I would share some pictures and show you how well she has adjusted to life with us. She's a little angel and we all adore her. She has settled so well with benji and even sits with the boys now. She's perfect for our family."

Comment 1:

"She has settled in so well! She's sleeping in the sofa next to us now! She's amazing!! Thank you."

Sittingpretty King Arthur aka Romeo by Mark and Rachel of Harrogate, UK

Sittingpretty King Arthur

"I wanted to express how thankful I am - we've made it past the year milestone and love our beautiful boy so much - he is such a big part of our family. Romeo has an amazing personality - he bonded with me first and is definitely a mummy's boy - when he comes in from playing outside, he goes around the house meowing (shouting) until he finds me. He loves playing with his toys - although over a year old, he's still a bit of a kitten. He's very loving, he likes giving kisses and snuggling in to get some warm - he is absolutely our pride and joy and we treasure every day we have with him. He is incredibly nosy so anything we are doing he wants to be involved, especially around cars, etc... His other favourite hobby is of course sleeping, where he looks so cute :-) Anyway, I'm sorry it's taken so long but I wanted you to know that he is happy and healthy, he's just had his booster injections....and we hope we can enjoy him for years to come."

Sittingpretty Maggie Pie and Sittingpretty Bertie aka Tiga by Lyn Morgan of York, UK

Sittingpretty Maggie PieSittingpretty Bertie

Comment 6:

"Maggie is absolutely fabulous. Maggie and Tiga are real friends now. Maggie will tell Tiga when she has had enough rough and tumble. She is definitely boss cat here. I can’t think what we did without her, she truly is a super cat. Thank you for two fabulous cats from Sitting Pretty."

Comment 5:

"People don’t realise how hard breeding is but you produce such wonderful kittens who grow into such super adults, it really shows the love you give each one of your babies."

Comment 4:

"Last night Maggie and Tiga were great together, no growling or spitting from Tiga and a couple of games ensued, so all looks good, Tiga sat outside Maggies door this morning and cried for me to let her out!!!"

Comment 3:

"Maggie and Tiga spent the evening in each other’s company yesterday. Tiga was doing a lot of low key growling and posturing to which Maggie completely ignored him. She then decided she would have a game of tag with him. Poor Tiga nearly jumped out of his skin, then he just sat in his chair looking at her antics and contemplating this strange furry thing in his house."

Comment 2:

"He is absolutely wonderful and very affectionate."

Comment 1:

"He is doing really well and I call him Tiga because he bounces and skids around so much. He is so funny and affectionate and loves to help me around the house. Even when he is naughty, he has such an innocent look, we have decided it must be the cat next door that comes in!!"

Sittingpretty Indianna by Lee Young of Harrogate, UK

Sittingpretty Indianna

Comment 2:

"You may recall I took delivery of Indiana from you in February time 2011. I just wanted to drop you a note to say how unbelievably brilliant she is. She is healthy, very affectionate, playful and an absolute dream to have in my life. Thank you so much!"

Comment 1:

"I could not have hoped for a more friendly, loving, affectionate and energetic little kitten. She is an absolute delight keeping me busy and displaying great intelligence too (she already knows exactly when it’s time to eat :) She is inquisitive and very well natured not to mention mischievous too which is always healthy. Having owned pedigree Sphynx and Russian Blue cats in the past I must say that SittingPretty has provided the most thorough, informed and helpful service I have encountered. Most importantly the love and care you demonstrate in bringing these wonderful cats into the world is clearly visible in the brilliant nature of my little Indiana."

Sittingpretty Bubble aka Dexter and Sittingpretty Bellini aka Celeste by Norma Outhart of Flintshire, UK

Sittingpretty Bubble and Sittingpretty Bellini

Comment 3:

"Dexter and Celeste are both well and happy. Thank you again for these two beautiful kittens, they are just a joy to have."

Comment 2:

"I am writing to let you know how very pleased we are with our bundles of joy Bubble (AKA Dexter) and Belini (AKA Celeste). They have been with us for two weeks now and have settled in well, Dexter likes to help with the washing up. I would like to thank you so much for your service to us. I would like to say to other people thinking of having one of your beautiful kittens how very pleased we were with your service, from the day of our first contact you have been so helpful, and offering a personal delivery service was just the best. Our kittens mean the world to us, and our family and friends all comment on how beautiful and healthy they are. I can't thank you enough for your first class service."

Comment 1:

"They are both doing fine, a couple of little rouges though. Can't turn your back on them for a minute or they either steal any food or if you leave the milk bottle on the work surface they chew through it. They absolutely love water and are in the sink most of the time, even jumped in the bath one night, thankfully it was full of cool water."

Sittingpretty Mya and Sittingpretty Lyra by Melanie and Mark Wilson of Liverpool, UK

Sittingpretty Mya and Sittingpretty Lyra

Comment 2:

"They are both doing great, I'm glad we got both as they are best friends and really stick together!! Mya is the naughtiest and escapes from the garden no matter what we do to try and stop her. It's not too bad though as Lyra always tells on her!! Lyra is still really striking and her fur is amazing. You made the buying experience really positive as you obviously care about your cats and the kittens you breed, I am sure this has gone a long way in making our girls the great cats they are."

Comment 1:

"Thanks so much, they are more gorgeous than I remembered."

Sittingpretty Jake and Sittingpretty Tallulah Belle aka Lulu by Joanne Baker of Urmston, UK

Sittingpretty Jake and Sittingpretty Lulu

Comment 4:

"Jake and Lulu have grown into beautiful cats. They both have lovely temperaments and just want to be with people. They are both very vocal as well. I’ve never known cats to follow you round all the time before! They are very confident with any visitors and love cuddles, especially Jake. They have a very mischievous side too. Lulu is still a master thief and has lightening speed whilst Jake has a thing about shoes and has wrecked several pairs!"

Comment 3:

"I am so glad we had a pair of kittens as they are inseparable. Even though Jake has now overtaken Lulu in size, she still fusses over him and always gives him a wash."

Comment 2:

"They are totally settled with us and I couldn't’t imagine life without them. Jake is an adorable softie. He cries to be picked up and will just run up your leg if you don’t oblige! He follows us everywhere and if you’re not sat down, he will sit on your shoulder quite happily. Lulu likes cuddles on her own terms and is the first to work out any mischief. She is definitely wild at heart and an incredible thief. She managed to carry off a whole loaf of bread! She is closest to my daughter and is happy to be picked up by her any time. I think because they play daft games together for hours. She is also very funny, fluffing up her fur all the time. A real drama queen. They went in the garden yesterday for the first time. They have ducks next door and Lulu was fluffing up every time they started quacking! They absolutely loved it."

Comment 1:

"Jake is very perky and lively and into absolutely everything. He loves the wheel. The more I praise him, the faster he runs!"

Sittingpretty Roly Poly aka Louis (Bg) and Sittingpretty Jack Black (Sv) by John Scott of Derbyshire, UK

Sittingpretty Roly Poly and Sittingpretty Jack Black

Comment 6:

"Jack and Mr fussy pusskins are becoming really settled. I begin work on their outdoor enclosure next week. Roly is pining to go outside, I can tell. Their huge indoor climbing frame comes next week. They enjoy fresh fish and mince meat with a few biscuits to clean their teeth most days. There will never be more spoilt cats! We play for hours now every day. Thank you, they are the most purrfect cats!"

Comment 5:

"The boys are wonderful! Jack has finally let me stroke him now, every so often and he looks and acts far less stressed. He's not hiding anymore, always wants to play and constantly follows me about the house. Louis has settled very quickly. He loves to wake us up every morning with his kisses and claws! He is so affectionate! They are both special cats."

Comment 4:

"Wow, what a difference a day makes! Both boys won't stop following me around today. They seem so much more settled. Play, sleep, play, sleep etc shall be the agenda today I think. My mum came around today with a little cooked white fish for them...I think I might have found Jack's favourite. He went crazy for it! They've also found the cabin bed. I think its their bed now! The love the height and the ladder up to it!"

Comment 3:

"I am over the moon with them. I've literally looked at thousands of different cats on the internet. These are the only two that caught my eye. I don't know, call it intuition but I'm sure we are meant to be together. This is definitely their forever home."

Comment 2:

"I was woken up by Louis at about 6 am with a big wet nose! They came out of their shell late last night and had a good explore. They have both eaten some food. Its nearly end of day one...Jack has spent about three hours playing with his toy. He's amazing how fast and agile he is! Louis has shown how affectionate he is! He has been rolling over, laying on his back and loving his chest being tickled with his powerful purr."

Comment 1:

"The boys are home safe. No meowing on the way home amazingly! They are together looking at me from under a big chair, not quite sure what to make of things! They're so beautiful, thank you."

Sittingpretty Razzle Dazzle aka Jazz and Sittingpretty Silver Bell aka Vesper by Jonathan Tyreman of Heckmondwike, UK

Sittingpretty Razzle Dazzle and Sittingpretty Silver Bell

"We decided to call the kittens Jazz (Razzle Dazzle) and Vesper (Silver Bell). The names coming from Sophie's love of music (Jazz) and mine for James Bond films/books (Vesper is a character form Casino Royal). They have grown so much since being very small kittens, and they have settled in very well to their new home. Jazz is generally the more well behaved cat, with her smaller sister Vesper generally causing the trouble and being a little mischief, although instead of Jazz keeping her in check she will then generally join in. Their favourite thing to do is raid the peg basket for the laundry, and then bat and chase the peg around on the floor, until it is loosed underneath the sofa, at which point one of them will get another peg and start all over again. The record for the number of pegs under the sofa in a week is 22!"

Sittingpretty Strike Alight aka Theo and Sittingpretty Hotspot aka Bo by Helen and Phil Allen of Bingley, UK

Sittingpretty Strike Alight and Sittingpretty Hotspot

Comment 3:

"Theo and Bo are just as you described them, both contented and lovely temperaments. They are really close and love to play and tumble with each other before rounding everything off with a cosy cat nap together. Bo is a real sweat heart but also very bold and adventurous. Theo is a big old softie,”cowardly custard" and perhaps a little more weary and cautious. They are into a great routine and are now a big part of the family. They have the run of house and every night they find their way to the foot of our bed and snuggle up there together."

Comment 2:

"Theo and Bo are well and truly at home now with plenty of sleeping, eating and playing. Both are wonderfully affectionate and happy to sleep on my lap. Theo is definitely the brave one and Beau is very playful and full of energy. We are so lucky to have them both.....thank you!"

Comment 1:

"Strike and Hotspot have settled in nicely and have really come out of their shell today. The names we are thinking of are 'Theo' and if it's ok with you 'Bo' for Hotspot. Thank you very much indeed for allowing us to purchase two of your kittens, it is a privilege and they will be loved dearly."

Sittingpretty Chrysos aka Pixie by Danielle Westmoreland of London, UK

Sittingpretty Chrysos

Comment 4:

"We think she's rather special! And has lots of admirers."

Comment 3:

"She really is very pretty. She has a pale background colour and she's more spotty... quite like a cheetah, especially her tummy! She is brilliant!"

Comment 2:

"Pixie is a very lovely and loving cat and really seems to enjoy being involved in everything especially with the children. Bathtime is great, she sits on the side watching and has been brave enough to put both her front paws in, to shrieks of delight from them! And then joins us all for bedtime books too."

Comment 1:

"Pixie is brilliant. Everyone is so happy she's here, all the children adore her and she always has someone to play with. She is such a lovely tempered cat, very chatty, very playful, very affectionate. And she is SO beautiful! Her markings are amazing and she has a lovely 'glitter' to her!"

Sittingpretty Printz Made aka Jeff by Kerry Noble of Huddersfield, UK

Sittingpretty Printz Made

Comment 4:

"Jeff has beautiful colourings. He really is a delightful kitten. He has grown loads. He is very active and follows us all over the house, mewing very loudly when he can't find us. We end up having to go and find him!! He especially enjoyed climbing the Christmas tree and pulling off all the decorations. He is also getting more mischievous in the bathroom and keeps jumping in the bath when the children get in! Funny little boy. Thank you so much again, he's a great addition to our family."

Comment 3:

"Jeff is turning into a lovely cat. He is so affectionate and follows me everywhere....meowing when he can't find me. His favourite place is to sit is on my shoulder when I'm working....although he is getting a bit big for that now. His colours are really coming out and he has the softest fur. He is a bit of a thief though and enjoys pulling everything out of the recycling bin and taking it to his bed. And flicking tea or juice around the room if you put your cup on the floor! He gets on great with the children and the other cat and dogs. He has even been known to sleep on top of one of the dogs!"

Comment 2:

"Jeff has settled in well and is a lovely affectionate cat. He has made friends with our other cat and they usually sleep curled up together."

Comment 1:

"Jeff made it home fine.....he has a lovely singing voice! He has settled in well, stolen the other cats toys and even had a go at the dogs bone!! He is now having a cuddle and and a nap in Molly's arms."

Sittingpretty Fonzerelli by Peter Lyon of Rochdale, UK

Sittingpretty Fonzerelli

Comment 3:

"He's turned into a wonderful, funny, intelligent and affectionate cat."

Comment 2:

"Fonzi has settled really well after a little nervousness but is now making his presence felt and eating us out of house and home...!! He's into everything now and seeing him out in the garden chasing flies (and catching them) is brilliant!"

Comment 1:

"Fonzi is finding his way around the house and has bonded with Alison straight away........he still looks at me suspiciously though.....! He's eating ok and very vocal - especially when he's eating!!!"

Sittingpretty Firecracker aka Fifi by Maria Carling of Helensburgh, Scotland

Sittingpretty Firecracker

Comment 2:

"Firecracker ( or Fifi as she is now known) is doing fine. She is a right little madam that knows exactly what she wants. My younger dog loves her and vice versa, they really enjoy each other’s company and spend a lot of time together playing and chasing each other. My older dog is still getting used to getting pounced on, she climbs up on the back of the sofa and jumps on his back or chases him and grabs hold of his leg and holds on to it… poor old man! Having said that they are getting closer and she likes to snuggle up to him and have a nap."

Comment 1:

"Firecracker has now arrived. She is gorgeous! She immediately started exploring her new room and seems to be fine."

Sittingpretty Smokey Quartz aka Elsa by Nat Graham of Durham, UK

Comment 2:

"She is a very special lady. She suits her name Elsa, I chose it from the film Born Free as she is wild and elegant like the lioness. I love her so much."

Comment 1:

"Elsa is an amazing cat. We started to let her out in the garden during the day, she loves sunbathing and she never goes further than the next door gardens. I just call her name and she comes running straight in. She is such a character and never fails to do something daft to amuse us. Couldn't have asked for a better cat, getting bigger by the day cant believe she's one next week. She is doing very well and has settled fine here in her new home."

Sittingpretty Juicy Lucy and Sittingpretty Minky by Simon Barber of Leeds, UK

Sittingpretty Juicy Lucy and Sittingpretty Minky

Comment 2:

"They are just great. Best friends now. They are very energetic and playful and Lucy definitely is less petulant now she has another cat to play with. They love running around and playing and sitting in the sunshine in the windows. Minky settled in nicely after the first few days and they have been great ever since. Thanks for everything."

Comment 1:

"Thanks for all your help. They have used the litter tray OK and all is well in that department. They are loving the food and toys (especially the red mouse that was in your pack - thanks!). They are amazing and I am awfully happy with them."

Sittingpretty Alfie (Bg) and Sittingpretty Ginger Roger aka Marley (Sv) by The Holden family of Blackburn, UK

Sittingpretty Alfie and Sittingpretty Ginger Roger

Comment 4:

"They are both still a lot of fun and I have trained them both to play fetch which Marley really enjoys. Even though Alfie looks so angelic he gets into so much mischief, such as ripping up toilet rolls, emptying the bin and racing up trees when he is on a lead in the garden. Everyone who visits the house wants to take Alfie home because he's so friendly and beautiful, Marley is quite shy with visitors but very loving to everyone else."

Comment 3:

"They are both doing well and have grown alot. They are still the best of friends and play together all day then snuggle up together to sleep. Marley loves the snakes you sent home with them and he now has a collection of about five. He walks around the house with them in is mouth like a comfort blanket. He loves playing and jumping amazingly high. Then he feeds them by putting their heads in his dry food (thankfully he doesn't give them wet food it would be a bit smelly).Alfie has 2 spiders that are his favourite toys he is also very good at tree climbing when he goes outside on his harness, which can get a bit complicated and tangled. They are both great fun."

Comment 2:

"Marley and Alfie are doing really well and seem to have grown loads, Marley's already outgrown his harness! They both enjoy going out on their harness. Alfie loves to walk around and explore whereas Marley enjoys just chilling in the sun. They are both extremely playful and friendly! They have cuddled with every visitor who has been. Marley has the loudest purr we have ever heard. They both enjoy sitting really high up on their cat tree watching everyone go by. We really enjoy having them both."

Comment 1:

"Alf is now very well marked very much like the Snow leopard on the tv advert. Marley also going under the name Stunt cat, hasn't’t stopped playing yet!"

Sittingpretty White Heat aka Dylan by Lorna Hayward of Norfolk, UK

Sittingpretty White Heat

Comment 2:

"He is doing fine, settled in from day one, and acts like he has always been part of the family! He is more than a match for my other boy Dax, he leaps onto his back and terrorises him, then they will chase round the house like mini tornado's, (wish I had half their energy) but when they tire themselves out they will curl up and sleep together, (cute). He has grown a lot already, he eats almost as much as his big bro. We have nicknamed him Dylan. He is gorgeous."

Comment 1:

"Whitey cried out for a while on the journey, then fell asleep so didn't get too distressed. He ate as soon as we got in and within the hour had found and used his litter tray, we are amazed at how he has settled in. His 'big bro' didn't know what to make of him at first, but was soon chasing him round and playing, they are now laying asleep together in the cat basket, I know they will be ok, I just don't know who will be the boss! Thanks again for a little cutie."

Sittingpretty Dotty aka Koshka by Leanne Stott of London, UK

Sittingpretty Dotty
